Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Living Color turned its efforts to providing Disney’s  1,300-room hotel, Animal Kingdom Lodge, with all the trappings that would make this concrete and steel colossus appear to be constructed of rough-hewn logs and grass thatch. Living Color fabricated all the fiberglass thatch panels for use in all interior thatch applications and the artificial  log-like facades that clad the steel and concrete columns and supports throughout the property.In addition, we created  intricate simulated wood carvings and sculptures out of fiberglass and epoxy which are featured througout the resort. All told, the amount of fabricated material that came out of our facility for this massive project totaled more than 170 tons.
