Visitors to the new Pew Family Natural Science Center experience a variety of interactive exhibits and beautiful aquariums. Living Color created 4 amazing aquarium exhibits to provide visitors and staff with hands on learning and research opportunities.
A10 ft diameter cylinder aquarium showcases the rich and diverse Mangrove habitats around the park. Using our industry leading techniques, our artists accurately recreated two different species of mangrove trees and pods. The exhibit features a tidal control system that lowers and raises the aquarium water level at a touch of a button.
Two 570 gallon aquariums depict the amazing coral reef formations around the park. The unique worm rock formations and bright orange encrusting sponge found on the reefs around the park were recreated with exacting detail. Our team made numerous research dive trips to ensure that the fabricated structures were reproduce with biological accuracy.
A 1300 gallon outdoor sea turtle tank houses juvenile sea turtles for rehabilitation prior to release.
