Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Throughout part of 1999 and all of 2000, Living Color turned its efforts to providing Disney's new 1,300-room hotel, Animal Kingdom Lodge, with all the trappings that would make this concrete and steel colossus appear to be constructed of rough-hewn logs and grass thatch. Living Color fabricated fiberglass thatch panels for use in all interior thatch applications and we created the most prominent, public accessible, log like column wraps. All told, the amount of fabricated material that came out of our facility totaled more than 170 tons.
